The Diamonds are our oldest dancers, ages fifteen to eighteen.
The Diamonds include more intricate, technical, and naturalistic moves. Their curriculum builds on previous training and knowledge while working on developing style, finesse, and emotional expressiveness. They focus on developing precision and accuracy in technical skills. Students also work on advanced skill combinations, multiple fouette combinations and positions, switch leaps and turns, among others.
With Ms. Laurel’s permission, dancers may begin teaching their own lower level classes such as Ballet 1 or Tap 1, or they may be invited to be teaching assistants.
