Dream Dancers Academy of Music and Dance

Rebekah Marble

“I started dancing when I was nine, and before that I had always wanted to be a dancer. Now, in addition to dancing, I also teach ballet, jazz, and tap. My favorite style of dance, hands down, is ballet. I love the precision and perfection that can be reached as I continue to work hard. Dance has helped me to progress in several ways, and I continue to gain valuable life lessons the longer I do it.”

Our Teachers

 Laurel Mizell

“Ten years ago, when I first opened the studio, I dreamed of a school where kids could get quality dance training in a loving environment, where parents need not worry about their kids dancing inappropriately. I dreamed of a school that provided positive role models for children, that promoted body-positivity and self-esteem, and created a second family through friendship and fellowship. Dance is truly a form of art; without it, I feel like I can’t breathe. So this love is something I wanted to share with all children. The result of my dreams was Dream Dancers.”

Courtney Barger

“Many years ago, Ms. Laurel took me in, and I haven’t stopped dancing since! I teach every style of dance we offer, including the newly added hip-hop. But I don’t have a favorite style; I love them all. I love seeing the drive these kids have, and bringing out the best in them, which in turn brings out the best in me. It’s a passion I hope every girl who wants to be a ‘pretty ballerina’ can develop.”

Savannah Mizell

“My mom put me into dance when I was two and a half. Dance keeps me healthy and happy, and it’s my home away from home. I have so much love for every parent and child that walks through that door. I am so lucky to be able to say that I teach jazz, my favorite dance style, to some of these wonderful girls, but I love all the styles, and my love will only continue to grow.”
