In addition to a great role in the parent and spring recitals, our teams dance at a variety of events and venues in our community, and sometimes travel around the country to places like Disneyworld and New York City for performances. In July 2017, the Performance Corps will be heading abroad on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico! Can you say fiesta?
The Dream Dancers Performance Corps was formed in 2005 and has shown great success since its inception.
The Dream Dancers Performance Corps was formed in 2005 and has shown great success since its inception. Our teams were designed to provide young dancers with a structured, more disciplined study of dance. This intensive dance program allows dancers to focus on technique and offers them more performance opportunities.
The well-rounded dance curriculum provides dancers with a strong foundation and understanding of the art of dance. The required studies of dance consist of Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Studying these forms of dance allows dancers to be extremely versatile and prepares members for the dance world outside of our studio. Team members must attend their three classes plus one team class every week.
Our Performance Corps are divided into five separate teams according to age. Our youngest dancers are the Little Dreamers, followed by the Sapphires, the Rubies, the Emeralds, and the Diamonds. The teams are open to all registered students, regardless of age or skill level. We do not demand auditions of any dancer who wishes to join.
If you’re interested in joining, please contact Ms. Laurel today!
